Some were very expensive, but NONE of them had ever worked as well as this one! I went on-line to order another, and was pleasantly surprised to find the same model was improved somewhat (clear head so you can see the brush spin, stands upright on its own, etc.). We especially like the fact that you can turn the brush part off, although we use it almost all the time on our wood floors and in the bathroom. Far and away, it's still the best electric stick broom we have ever had, REGARDLESS of the price. Incredibly, it's still the cheapest. I would buy another one if ever needed, in a heartbeat!
